In-line with the imposition of a service tax of RM50 a year on each principal credit card and charge card, and a service tax of RM25 a year on each supplementary card effective Jan 1, 2010, I have decided to perform a total clean up on my credit cards possession.
If I were to hold on to these cards, I will need to spend MYR 550 (approx. USD 160) annually on credit card service tax alone. The ultimate objective is to keep only 2 credit card among all the 11 credit cards.

1. HSBC MasterCard- For the daily expenses.
2. OCBC- Great Eastern Visa Card- For auto debit transactions especially insurance payments.
