Let’s go on more fuel-efficient journeys

The recent crude oil price rally has burden most of us. While many of us are trying to cut cost here and there to accommodate the high energy cost era, below are a few driving tips from Proton that could help you to save some petrol consumption.

With a few adjustments to your driving habits, you’ll be surprised at how much you can save. Try these driving tips today and make your journeys ahead pleasant and economical.

Going uphill and on winding roads:
Your car will start gulping fuel if you don’t drive correctly in these conditions. Start climbing with a low gear and move your way up as speed increases. While doing so, avoid flooring the accelerator. Depress it progressively and be patient.

On highways:
Achieve an ideal speed by shifting gears accordingly. Then, reduce acceleration when it is possible, like when you’re going downhill or at corners. Let the car’s momentum drive you forward while you’re at it enjoy the view.

General driving:
Patience is key. Avoid accelerating unnecessarily within short distances and abrupt braking.

In traffic jams:
Go slow on the accelerator. You aren’t going to get far with the jam ahead anyway. Avoid frequent gear changes and use the correct gear according to speed. Shift to neutral whenever possible.

Other tips:
-Ensure that your tyres are pumped to the correct pressure to reduce resistance while driving.

-The more weight your car carries, the more fuel it burns. Remove unnecessary cargo from your car.

-Keep windows closed when traveling at high speeds to avoid wind resistance.

-Check your air filter. A clean filter lets your engine breathe easier. And always use original parts.

TV and Handphone: Which Is Better?

What a joke, somehow it tells some truth, enjoy.

Wife is like TV,

girlfriend is like Handphone (HP).

At home watch TV,

go out bring HP.

No money,

stay home watch TV.

Got money,

change HP.

Sometimes enjoy TV,

but most of the time play with HP.

TV free for life but HP,

if you don't pay the services will be terminated .

TV is big, bulky and most of the time old,

but handphone is cute, slim, curvy and very portable at any time.

Operational cost for TV is often acceptable but for HP is high and often demanding.

Most Important, TV got remote...... HP don't have......
Last but not least......TV do not have virus, but HP yes......have VIRUS.......

So better choose TV ......

Return to Blogsphere with Fujitsu S Series

After 1 week with the new company that I joined, finally I have got my new Fujitsu Lifebook S Series with AMD Turion 64X2 Mobile Technology TL-60, 2.00GHz, 2.62GB RAM, ATI Radeon Xpress 1150 with 128MB RAM and Atheros wireless.

Fujitsu is one of the most premium brands of PC that I know off; I believe this Lifebook S Series will be able to meet my requirements in getting work done as well as blogging.

The keypad of the Fujitsu Lifebook has offers features as below:
1. Large character marking on the button- easy to identify the right button, especially to the senior citizens.
2. Very nice fingers feel while typing on the keypad.

I have faced 2 times of disconnection of the dial up Internet connection today (if you are reading my older posts, you will know that I might be the only blogger that uses dial up Internet connection). Hope this has got nothing to do with my new Fujitsu Lifebook dial up adaptor.

Next time if you notice someone blogging with a Fujitsu Lifebook at the café with WiFi, it might be me.

My Google Adsense Month of May, 2008 Performance

Generally my Adsense income is not performing well in the month of May year 2008.

The page impressions was exactly as month of April year 2008, but the number of click was reduced to almost half as compared to the April 2008 performance.

Possible causes of the slowdown of my Adsense earning.
1. Only one new post in my high pay per click blog.
2. Not much effort put in; basically all the blogs were left floating in the blog sphere.

I am making a strategic career move this month, and I got to say goodbye to the Dell Latitude D630, this will cause me inactive for a while until I got my new laptop from the new employer.

Hopefully this will not cause much impact to the June 2008 Adsense income performance.
