Start Living Life On Your Own Terms

Living is beautiful. Life is a gift, embrace it and enjoy the experiences.
This is what I shared with friends and especially the younger generation.

The world is getting better, with more populations being highly educated.
The environment will also get better, with the renewable and sustainable green technologies.

However, while I review my life, I am puzzling that if  I am living the life I aspired?
I do not have the exact answer.
I changed over time, or shall I say I progress over time?

As a middle age man, the purpose of my life is not the same as the younger me.
I would like to live to make the world a better place for living, human, animals & plants.
Not merely serving the greedy corporates, and sadly to say, most of the corporates are managed by bureaucrats. I am at my last few years before hitting golden age, I find I am wasting my precious time on bureaucracy and office politics.

I would like to start living life on my terms.
Not possible now, as I am yet to reach financial freedom.
I give myself 3 years time frame, if I can achieve financial freedom before 3 years period, that will be great. If I can't, upon 3 years time period is due, I shall proceed to take the first step on the journey to live on my terms.

Kuwait International Airport International Hall & Boarding Gate Entry Inspection

Kuwait, one of the GULF countries in Middle East Region, and is also one of the fastest growing economy entity in Middle East at this moment.

I learnt new experience on the Kuwait International security inspection, which are inspection prior to entrance to International Departure Hall and inspection to boarding Hall.

If you are bringing your notebook PC or laptop, please have it fully charged or have the power adapter with your hand carry luggage.

This is because you will be asked to turn ON your notebook PC and laptop during both of the above mentioned inspections.

To travel light, I usually have the laptop's power adapter checked in with my luggage. Just imagine, if my laptop battery is flat and I have no adapter with me, what kind of mess and unwanted situation will happen to me?

If you are a business traveler, and you are traveling in tight schedule, this will mess up your journey.

Feel free to share this post and comment if any.

Live Present, Live Now, Live Well

About the same date in 20 years ago, after my polytechnic diploma final exam, I took a bus with a luggage bag traveling to Kuala Lumpur to look for a job and continue my degree study in UTM, Technology University of Malaysia.

I was very excited, partly was because another new chapter of my life has begun. However the main reason is my girlfriend was studying in KL as well.

I shared a room with another 3 friends in one of the apartment in Cheras for the first 2 months.

I moved out and occupied a room in a double storey linked house.

The quality of life had downgraded so much after I moved out from my home town. The tap water is yellowish, the toilet was always dirty and the toilet drain is always clogged. Worse off is at that time, water supply crisis was haunting the KL residents.

After a few months, I moved to another house with some new friends. I painted my room before I move in. Things got better because we invested a unit of water purifier. No more clogged toilet drain however cleanliness was still far behind what I enjoyed back home.

The stayed in the third  house for 5 years until I got married, and my wife and me moved to a rented house.

The privacy that we enjoyed and customization of stuffs to our liking was the experience we never had when we both stayed at respective bachelor house.

The joy of having a home even though it was built on a rented house is worthy and necessary.

I regretted that for the past 5-6 years, I did not rent a house to build a comfortable home.

Living life does not means we need to compromise the quality of life in present for future.

Live now, live present, build a comfortable place called home.
